Tank week ran from the 9th February until 9th March 1918, for the townspeople to invest in certificates and war bonds for the war savings campaign. The tank named 'Egbert' visited Harrogate from 12th March until 16th March and up to 9th March £562,683 had been obtained. This photograph was taken in the Library Gardens.
