Charles (Billy) Wox, Cobbler, at work in his shop at 74 High Street, Knaresborough Jean Harrison (nee Wox) emails [2006]:This is my dad, Charles (known as Billy) taken in the back of the shop, doing some stitching. My grandad Wox and my nan lived behind and above the shop for many years, where they brought up two children, my dad and my aunt Molly. Sadly my dad died before he reached retirement age in 1978. The shop is still there and is now a shoe shop.
